Entry #63


Second Outfit Entry

I saw this dress on Pinterest a while back, and fell in love with it.



I knew I wanted it to go with my outfit.
The other items just fell into place after I found the polka dot fabric at joanns.

In Progress
As you may know with my first FDC 2013 entry,
this was going to be the more complicated of the two.
It definitely was!
The dress was definitely the hardest part because I was revising three patterns and adding my own elements. It took many first drafts to get the final look.
Thankfully, all the other pieces came together pretty easily
(though they were definitely time consuming!)
For the dress top I used my own revised versions of the Liberty Jane Woomera dress pattern, and also the Liberty Jane Tank Top pattern.
For the dress skirt, I used a revised version of Suzy M. Studios Versatile Skirts (in 4 styles) pattern.
For the slip, I used the pattern that was included in the Liberty Jane Woomera dress pattern.
I used the Liberty Jane Sofia Blazer pattern for the blazer.
I bought the boots on eBay (here), and added the back fringe.
I bought the sunglasses from American Girl (here)
I made all the other accessories with my own patterns/ideas.

This was a very time consuming project!


Final Shots
I was hoping for some really great lighting for these shots, but I had to settle for what I got (which wasn't too bad, just not what I had in mind).
Like I did for my previous outfit I made a logo and added it to the photos.
