Entry #26

2013 Fashion Design Challenge
Entry #26

This design was an easy choice for me. I thought about all the things I love about summer, and decided that the feeling of freedom was one that always captured 'summer' to me. I guess my memory influenced me, too. While I was making the dress, I remembered fun times I had had while wearing a sundress. Running and playing with my friends, gardening, reading... I wanted to catch some of the magic of summer in an outfit.

Summer Breeze is exactly what its name suggests; charming, airy, and perfect for hot summer weather. From its playful dot pattern, to the ruffled skirt, to the perfectly matching kerchief, this outfit sports a playful look, sure to catch any doll's fancy.

I vote for #26. The turquoise and white is perfect and summery--Love the sweet headscarf and the flared skirt. The modeling of the doll and the photography are excellent. Wish I had such a lovely outfit (and such skills).
